Not as far as I'm aware, I think he's really only popular because of nostalgia and being similar to Godzilla.

Old Lao seems to be the embodiment of boredom itself so they BETTER completely revamp it. There's no way in hell a 30 min snoozefest would be acceptable in 2027.

Was kinda hoping for Dalamadur but eh maybe it'll be as good.

I'm looking forward to it. I reserving judgment on the rocket gauntlet until more info is revealed, but if it speeds up weapon attacks or allows for new attacks(please let Blast Dash return) then it should spice up fights a bit

I'm also excited for Lao, who even if it's the same hunt as the older games, still won't be the worst seige fight in the series.

I'm fully expecting some issues like there was with Iceborne, but all in all I have faith in it

Anyway you can make a playable backup of Wilds before the expansion? For testing purposes. No doubt capcom will patch current version and we will won't be able to play the old version before expansion.

Hope the story's more intriguing than the last. Seems like the characters have jumped time and Nata grew older...

A notable feature is that the main director's changing. Not sure if that's necessarily a good change(the last game he directed seems to be kinda bad on all sides except for the performance part)

they always change the director for the expansion, nothing new. Tokuda just started working on MH7

The clutch claw and seikret are pretty much on the same level of "i don't want to think" so not really anything new.

Not even close, one effects your actually fight, other is just taxi another prove ppl cant make constructive judgments

The trailer was kinda boring. Icborne hit way better. Went back recently only for the game to run even worse. This expansion is On Sale buy.
