I did it! I finally beat P5!
I'm a new ish player who got hollow knight 2 weeks ago. Man now I understand all the hype this game gets lol. What a fantastic journey that was.

Grew up with platformers on snes so I was in familiar waters right away.

All I can say is this was hard as balls. For a while I thought I would NEVER be able to do this but I'm glad I proved myself wrong. I did fail at AR twice (including the first time for obvious reasons) so it took me 3 tries. Dying to AR is absolutely heartbreaking lol but I persissted. AR in itself isn't THAT bad but doing it one try after that long and exhausting gauntlet is pure cruelty.

Still got a bunch of achievements to get. The worst is behind me. Already beaten in steel soul 100% so those are done and over with. I'm excited to platinum this game.

Great game 10/10.

it's been a month now. do you feel that line remains true?
I have yet to get the platinum only because I still have some rather obnoxious achievements to get like letting Zote die or banish the Grimm troupe (I love fighting NKG). Just have not had the motivation to do those even through it would be easy. I have instead practiced some bosses and gotten even better at P5 in general so it's not hard for me anymore. Will try to kick myself in the b*tt and complete those one day through since I am so close.

I don't know how I am supposed to live with myself.

Well, two more achievements to go. And a secret one, which, I'm hoping, is the one you get for getting all of the other achievements. But I suppose I'll find out.

Time to grind those bestiary entries.
