Questions about controls/difficulty/settings
I completed ending A using mouse/keyboard on normal mode. Normal gameplay felt fine, but areas with a static camera, flight units, or hacking felt clunky since I had to switch to arrow keys to aim. I have a PS1 controller, should I use it instead?

I initially tried hard mode, but turned it down after dying a couple times in the tutorial. On the first game cycle, normal felt too easy, but hard seemed too difficult, especially with how plug-in chips can be lost. Would I be happy with NG+ enemy scaling, or should I turn the difficulty up again and solve my skill issue? Should I not use plug-in chips so I don't have to worry about losing them?

Also, I ended up rushing the story and missed most of the side quests. Did I miss out on much? Is it worth it to go after all the side quests and dig for secrets each game cycle?

I can answer a few easy ones:

- Tutorial is only balanced for Normal. Only switch to Hard after finishing the prologue.
- Playing with a Xbox controller felt great, dunno about the PS1 controller tho.
- You didn't miss much from skipping side-quests, but some of them can be fun.
- I don't remember the chips part, but I think Hard makes the game more souls-like where you have to retrieve your stuff or die trying.

If you're only worried about losing chips, don't use any expensive ones for bosses, or have a backup save before the fight.
If you got ending A when you go to New Game+ you will play as a totally different character you'll play as 9S and the game play will change as you will be able to hack enemies as 9S. Once you get ending B with 9S then loading a third New Game + you will then finally be able to play as a third character in that one A2 as well as 9S.

Hard difficulty you basically get one shotted by most enemies until you get better chips later on to make Hard difficulty a little bit easier but you will still die after a few hits.

I'm done with endings C and D by now. I decided to turn it to hard at some point while playing as 9S. I also switched to controller.
Currently I'm trying to get the rest of the achievements before doing that thing that supposedly deletes your save during the credits.
