Hello,

I'm having an issue with Steam Game Recording. My microphone works perfectly everywhere except in Steam recordings.

Here is what I've tested:

My microphone works in Discord.
My microphone works in OBS.
My microphone works in Steam Voice Chat.
Steam detects my microphone correctly in Voice Settings.
"Record Microphone" is enabled in Steam Game Recording settings.
I've restarted Steam and my PC multiple times.
I've tried changing audio recording settings.
I've checked Windows microphone permissions.
I've tested different recording settings, but nothing worked.

The game audio is recorded normally, but my microphone audio is completely missing from all recordings.

Since the microphone works correctly in Steam Voice Chat and other applications, it seems that the issue is specifically related to Steam Game Recording.

Has anyone experienced this problem or found a solution?
