nothing to do with the client, post a suggestion for a filter for it in the Steam Community board as that is part of the Steam Community.
for legal reasons, comments are never "decreated", they are just put into different stages of visibility.

hanging while restarting: have to manually kill the client in order to make it restart properly...

I don't know if it helps, but start with -dev and press F5, that restarts webviews

My keyboard is considered to be a controller and the steam controller's right track pad and back buttons prompts me if you want to active remote desktop which allows remote interaction every time. I would consider getting another controller.

Still can't edit chords on my Steam Controller even after this update :(
