Valentines day is getting close so we decided to hold a giveaway on our discord server[discord.gg]. The game you can win is a copy of Borderlands 3. This time it's a little special. Banned on wrong cause? Did you follow the rules but got a ban anyway? Then it's your lucky day! Today we can happily announce a new function: the ban appeal!

How does it work?

Can I follow the status of my ban appeal or check overall statuses?
Yes you can right here[docs.google.com]. If you followed the last step in the forms, you'll recieve an email with your unique number so you can follow your ban appeal

I've sent a ban appeal, what happens now?
We will review your ban appeal. Remember that we do have IRL lives too so please, be patient

Can I change my name after sending you a ban appeal?
No, please don't do that. If you change your name, then your appeal will be cancelled and we don't want to be flooded with multiple appeals from the same user at the same time

A staff member added me as a friend on Steam?
Yes, we can do that in some cases. And if we do, then we hope you'll accept our friend request

I just sent in my ban appeal, can I make the process quicker?
No, there's no premium function and absolutely no way to affect our work. We take each ban appeal in order and we won't skip any appeals

Will you answer questions on your mail adress?
No, we won't

Scammers

Yesterday, I was contacted by a user on our chat. They told me that someone used my account and that they had to speak to me. I got information about how they sold things on the market and that "someone" used my pfp and name for the transaction. Of course, I wanted to find this user since they have no right to act like if they're me. The chat between me and the user continued and apparently they had reported me for fraud. This made me really suspicious. My suspiciousness was confirmed once they wanted me to add some guy from "Steam support" on Discord, they were indeed a scammer

I know it's an old scam, but the thought that people do this towards others only to steal accounts made me wanna fight back a little. So I successfully wasted 1h of that scammers life by playing along until I had to "contact" the "support". Instead of following their rules, I made my own rules and turned their game against themselves. Once they told me the name of the "support" guy, I dropped the last bomb and told them that it's a mistake to try to scam the co-owner of Furry Pride and that they will indeed be banned

And remember, if anyone from Furry Pride steam chat or Discord contacts you for having "reported you". Do not add the contact they give you, contact one of the staff members at Furry Pride instead. Remember to provide a screenshot of the conversation with the scammer. Block the scammer and report them
