solar eclipse sasquatch

The solar eclipse was happening soon.

I was living in a small secluded town with some roomates in the mountains. Our house in particular was in the middle of this gorgeous valley. Looked like something right out of a Bob Ross painting. I was setting up my camera on a tripod to take some pictures of the solar eclipse. As I was getting ready the eclipse started happening and it started getting dark pretty fast. Like as dark as night. I was caught a little unprepared so while the camera was still semi-attached to the tripod I walked outside and took some freehand pictures. It was very dark now and I took a lot of pictures.

When I went to check how the pictures turned out in the camera preview I saw in one of the pictures a scary Sasquatch. Glowing eyes, baring teeth, about to attack, stalking in the background, like a horror movie. I got spooked and said "Something ain't right here" and went back inside my house. I didn't feel it was safe but I was still curious so I went to my second floor balcony to scout it out. It was still dark but I didn't see anything yet. All of a sudden I notice explosions and fire coming from the nearby town. I was pretty far from the actual town so I was okay, but I said to myself "Shit is going down". About this time the eclipse was ending and it was getting brighter again. You could actually tell that it was daytime now, but I still couldn't see any Sasquatch. I could hear their roars though. But I had nothing to do so I took some more pictures from my balcony, wishing I got a better shot of the eclipse.

What connects our village to the outside world is this one train railway. As I'm watching the commotion in the town a train comes up bringing some crazy shit. First traincar had a big tank, second was some missle silo thing, and third was metal gear Rex. I thought to myself "Holy shit, they need all that?". For some reason at this time I was acutely aware that there was a small army of Sasquatch and not just one. But those weapons never got off the train. Instead, the commotion in the town stopped and it got quiet again. Soon after another train comes around with a lot of passenger cars. It curved around and you could see inside was a whole bunch of Sasquatch. But here they looked pretty friendly and derpy instead of the one I saw in my picture. The conductor was this Santa looking guy and he was at the helm ringing a bell and yelling "It's okay, they're friendly. I'm gonna bring you around slowly". Before I knew it our house was actually another train car and it was on parallel tracks to the main train. The conductor used some magnetism or something to pick us up onto the main railway and we got attached to it. It started leaving the valley and before we know it we were taken to this underground tunnel.

While we were chugging along I argued with my roommates about which metal gear they brought (they though it was Ray but it was definitely Rex). All of a sudden I notice a transparent barrier was made between our train car and the one in front. Then I heard commotion in the other train cars ahead of us. There was one soldier from the car ahead holding a salted grilled fish in his hand, eating it, not really noticing the commotion. I try to reach out to him but the barrier stops me from getting over. I concluded that the barrier was there to protect us. And then it becomes apparent from there that the train car ahead of us was being attacked by the Sasquatch. They turned on us. The soldier finally noticed and took out his rifle but by then it was too late. A big scary looking Sasquatch came and attacked him. He screamed and tried to reach out to me. I tried to take his hand to help him, but all I could reach was his salted fish. The Sasquatch used his claws and fisted the soldiers stomach, pulling out his intenstine like a straight line. He died instantly. I did the classic "NOOOOOO" scream Darth Vader does in episode 3. All of a sudden, an achievement pops up on my screen (mind?) that said "Fish stick, get!". I thought to myself huh, that's weird, this is obviously a whole fish, not a fish stick.

Then I woke up

No more drinking for me before I got to sleep. On the other hand, here's some actual pictures I took of the solar eclipse. It was cloudy as hell and I have no actual idea how to take pictures of the sun, soooo yeah . . .
