Just bought Flashback - i played the very old JA2 in ..puh... 1998(?)

I made some maps/mods before and I am interested in modding JA.
Can someone help me to get the modding program?
There is a link in the description I found on steam, but it is allreeady offline.

Maybe someone is interested to work on an addon for the game?
Plz be so kind and contact me for an answer?!

I saw that "happy moment" of FC (and Thomas Lund himself) where the milestone is reached on Twitch at 3 hours 25 minutes and almost a tear was falling from me.... Just an awesome moment! :-)

@SgtFopper™ Every little bit counts. I'm glad I'm helping. I can't pledge because I have no income myself. This is the least I can do. I've managed to get several friends and strangers from FP to pledge so I guess that counts a bit more than that, too. I just want this game to happen. I expect Full Control to take their time and make sure everything is perfect. For a great new JA game. I can't wait.

Good news, the mods stickied the thread to General Games Discussion (a thing that almost never happens!) this will get us more attention. You see, Facepunch is a very big forum. I'm servicing everyone's questions to ease their inquiries on whether they should fund this great project or not.

Will I be able to turn off unit selection reticules and other extraneous UI elements on/around the characters in the gaming field?
I really really hate seeing floating hp bars, little circles around soldiers' feet and such. But I seem to be in the minority when it comes to gaming. I look forward to the final bug-free product after the first live patch.

EXile1A: AMEN.... I couldn't believe what I heard when friend linked this. For me JA2 is one of milestones of gaming. 14th re-play on the run, voice mods done to World of Tanks ;D and so on. All I need is JA2 humor everywhere, voice acting, lot of "hidden" things (joy of finding things out) and of course THE gameplay.

I seriously hope this game will make it, JA2 is ONE of these really memorable games that stand out, and I'm playing for quite a while ;-)
