As a gesture of goodwill and to make the COVID-19 quarantine less difficult on everyone, we've decided to bring back the Jailbreak & Deathrun servers back as a special event for the duration of the quarantine.

Please note;
- All bans have been lifted. Everyone is welcome back. But there are no ban appeals - if you get banned, for however long, you will have to wait it out.

- The rules are the same. Be nice, be chill, everyone's having a hard time & trying to have fun.

If you're like me, you hate Christmas. This really has nothing to do with today's announcement but it's the first thing I thought of so I decided to write it down.

Anyways, it's time for a new Game of the Month! If you have suggestions for what SERVER we should host, please join the Discord ( https://discord.gg/AMq77dy ) and post them under the #gotm-candidates channel and we'll have a vote to pick the winners & host a server of that. Last one we had was Garry's Mod Mini-Games. That was fun, for like two days, then no one played it anymore so maybe pick better next time?? Jk I don't really mind.

This will be a game we host for just a few days or a few weeks, until we move onto the next thing. Unless it REAAAALLY sticks.

LifePunch update - LODSE MONE, Game Night, Minecraft server???

A little update on what's the happen. Forum UIDs 2, 3, 4 and 5 were auctioned off for over US $550! Which is fucking nuts. But it also means we have more funds than we need to host the website/forums for a year. So let's do fun stuff. Shout-out to Blue Beetle, Kylie, Drew, Bellaga and people still bidding on #uid6-auction and #uid7-auction for those donations :)

First of all, I upgraded the hardware the site/forums are hosted on. It's a tiny bit pricier ($5+tx/mo) but hopefully the database won't crash every time there's a bunch of people on at the same time. Also, I setup a system to restart the webserver & database whenever it crashes, in case it happens again. There shouldn't be anymore downtime. :) Shout-out to Drew for the help!

Up next, I'd like to setup a gallery on the website where people can submit LifePunch screenshots, for nostalgia's sake.

Also, people in #⌨ are suggesting we host a Minecraft server, just for fun. Nothing serious. I'm OK with that, but it will probably double our monthly cost and a decent chunk of the money will go towards that. So before I do that, I want to make sure people would actually be interested in playing?

So if you're interested in that Minecraft business, please vote on #✅ :)

Last but not least, Kylie gave me the idea of hosting a Jackbox Party game night, we could do that on Discord too. Keep your eyes peeled on here if there's any interest.
