Anxious for DotA2 overlay support.

Parapsych, you can already use voice detection and push to talk together. Simply select voice detection as your input method and create a push to talk function and bind it to a key in the options.

I think they should implement a feature which allows you to use voice detection and push to talk consecutively. Just an idea.

mumble(dot)com is a legit hoster of Mumble servers.

Back when Mumble just got started we allowed them to use the domain; in hindsight maybe a bad decision.
They are not directly affiliated with us.

@Z_R_K; @spookster: I believe you got scammed by a fake Mumble website, that's hosting a modified Mumble 1.2.5 client. Someone just tried to scam me as well. Don't download the client from any other website than the official (use google to find the official one). I don't think I can link the fake website, and I don't think I should.

@Z_R_K: i think the installer you downloaded was rigged... was the url to the installer sent to you or did you download it from the official mumble site? if it was official you should have updated the program... the mumble team was putting out 3 updates since may.

Dear Mumble team, I have problem with your program. Somebody use bug in your 1.2.5 version of your software and stolen all my expensive stuff from Dota 2. Can you help me and solve this problem?

@ocprgmr: Sorry for the late reply. There has never really been a break in development. The development snapshots you can use continually get new features.
Currently, we are in the process of fixing our build-system in order to realize the 1.2.4 release.
We also want to register as a non-commercial organisation. This should allow us to decrease our current point of failure with release-installer-signing. If we can realize this our current bottle-neck should be severely reduced and stable releases happen more often.

No new "news" on sourceforge since 1.2.4 came out. Anyone know whats going on with Mumble? Is the group just taking a well deserved break? I was just wanting to know what might be going on with the iPhone/iPad app. :)
