Minor Delay for Relaunch

Due to a change in IPs, unable to get website live this week, however, work is being done as fast as possible and the worst case scenario is it will go live in a fortnight. Please be patient, but again I would like to stress that when the website comes back up, it will not go back down or be rebuilt again.

Website to be Relaunched next Weekend

Hello everybody

How are we all doing? I bring glorious news to you. I have a BIG UPDATE. By the end of next weekend, the site and forums will have relaunched, onto a new system. It will be the last time the system is changed so should hopefully mean no more major downtime. What it does mean however is that everyone will have to re-register. This is regrettable, but as we are moving from IP Boards to vBulletin, it has to be done. What can you look forward to though?

Absolutely no Spam
A recent posts sidebar, as was requested by a lot of people
Better flow of discussion

And so much more. So, next weekend, the forums and website will relaunch, I will give you an update as soon as they go live.

Website/Forum status

Hello Everyone

The website and forum are still down, trying to get an update, I shall give you one when I have one. Without going into too much detial, last I heard, Tech was planning on moving the website and forum onto a new server/web server, and we are all anticipating the release of IPBoards 4, which would give a lot of new functionality to the forums. So lots of background work being done to prepare for that from what I gather

In the meantime, happy gaming, and consider checking out http://www.youtube.com/LizandRobbie - maybe comment on your favourite video, or leave a request for a game you want to see played. We can still exist as a community, even if the forums are down, we can be patient. We will also have a Left 4 Dead 2 Night sometime this month (*read night as day, evening, morning etc). So plenty of stuff to still go on and of course we still have this Steam community

Community Game Night, Youtube Requests and Player of the Week

As some of you know, I am a Let's Player on Youtube, and do a lot of game recordings. I am always looking for feedback, and as I alluded to in a previous announcement, part of the function of my channel is to bring awareness to the TechieAnalyst community. So I was wondering what games you would like to see me play?

To continue from a previous announcement, our first game night shall be in the middle of February (date to be confirmed), and the game shall be Left 4 Dead 2. It was free recently and I saw a lot of people get it, so it is as good a place to star as any.

Furthermore, we have a player of the week, for all his hard work and kindness, as well as patience, this week's Player of the Week goes to Zxellon, well done Zxellon
