This has been seemingly dead for a while, the site is still up but nothing has been happening. I want to donate but I'm afraid that it will be a waste as things on the site already seem to be slowly breaking (e.g. not pulling API of certain sites anymore).

What will happen when keys will be like 20 ref? Will it continue or valve/people realize that they have to change it?

Hello guys.
26 Kas 2012 @ 13:56
If Valve incorporated a tf2 service known as a 'heat map'. this would be a good place to start that.

http://stats.tf2finance.com/ some more interesting Team Fortress 2 Statistics. someone needs to make source filmmaker videos of one of the characters doing Finance News in that sort of crazy tf2 world, it would be harilous! but also serious.......

@N7_Cisco There is an obsolete one at http://tf2finance.com/supply/ , but the figures were approximations at that time.

16 Kas 2012 @ 18:19

15 Kas 2012 @ 17:37

Thanks for the answer, that makes sense. I assume you plan to do scans in the future to update the database of items, but not constantly like the other websites.
8 Kas 2012 @ 20:33
All data came from Steam API.

This site had more items than any other sites because it is a one-time thorough scan of every possible account.

The drawback is that the result is static and permanent, while other sites focus on recency and update the most active backpacks.

Enjoyed looking over all the statistics, very interesting and informative. I'm curious why does tf2 finance have so many more items in its database based on overall count then other similar sites? Is the data coming from Steam Web API?
