Road to Steam

Hello everyone! Today I'd like to begin introducing all you fans to the idea of getting ZE to Steam via the Greenlight.

This means we would have a much bigger audience, automatic updates and easier installation of the game. In order to submit the game, we will need 100$ USD.

More information will come out tomorrow, so stay tuned. If you intend on using this version on Linux or MacOS, please wait for tomorrow's patch which will simply update the DLLs. If you have any issues with the autinstaller, please contact us as soon as possible.

If you would like to begin creating/porting maps, please let us know as well so we can guide you and help out.

A bit of news before the patch.

First off, we have our Gamebanana page where all you mappers can publish your ports and original work: http://gamebanana.com/games/5769

We highly encourage you to do so.

Second, we would like to let you all know that the next update will include an autoinstaller which means you can automatically update and install the game with a click of a button. All this will be available for download at our website. We won't post any links until the patch is 100% ready.

Third, we would like to warn everyone that no version of the game is perfect, and the next one is no exception. So please remain open-minded and considerate.

Finally, we have our official Delta World Wide server, but no game community is fun without competition, which is why we're offering our expertise to help any established community set a neat little server up. Contact us if interested by posting in this announcement's discussion.

Our intention is to release it tomorrow if all goes well and as planned. If not, you will be notified.
