I read that if you have a low amount of RAM on your GPU (video card) such as, only 1 GB of ram such as mine, it's beneficial to restart the PC game you are playing every couple hours
because the low amount of RAM can cause the game and your system to get slow and unresponsive since there is no RAM to spare,

I quit ESO just after 3,000 hours. I don't even recommend the game. Also, had 600 hours on PS.

My account was setup during 1.0 so I have to use the stand alone FFXIV Launcher downloaded through MogStation.

Well Steam users have to use the FFXIV launcher too. Unless you are referring to some third party one.
