Great Marble Adventure is one of my new favorites. Inspired by the classic marble rolling 3d platformer games, this game is a blast (no pun intended) to play! It may look and sound dated, but don't be fooled, the gameplay is where it shines, with 230 levels ranging from tutorial levels to very difficult marathons. The gameplay curve is quite smooth, with so much content to challenge yourself with that there is always something to do and improve at. Whether you're beating harder and harder levels, getting faster times, or taking on the many challenges, there's something for everyone. Out of the many, many levels, there were only a handful that were a bit annoying. All of the rest are quite well designed and interesting once you get the hang of how to play.

Highly Recommended!

As an egg game addict I give this game a sunny side thumbs up. The first little while of learning the controls is a bit of a struggle, but once you get past that, the incredible level design really shines through, and that's just the developer made official level! With workshop support and a level editor, and multiplayer, I can see this being a game full of creative and challenging levels. The skill ceiling can be pushed a lot higher, and it is satisfying to improve at.

I don't normally review games before I'm done, so note that I'm 18/23 checkpoints in at this point, so have experienced a good chunk of the game but not all of it, and have only touched the single player official level so far.

Really fun and mostly overlooked dodging game, sort of like Geometry Wars if it were a platformer.

I love it. Gameplay is cool, the atmosphere is cool, the sound of sizzling is cool (but hot). One of those games that makes you wonder wtf is going on while it takes you on a ride which is enjoyable throughout.

It's dangerous for games to be this good. Scratches the itch of old school collectathons but with some of the coolest movement I've seen once you figure it out; it's up there with the best.

Not good. It has potential, but it's just a very average game that is riddled with so many game breaking bugs. I had to launch the game over 20 times in the first hour of playing because of softlocks/bugs.

It's a fun, relatively short, but unique roguelite about saving people from burning buildings and some other story elements. Honestly nothing really wrong with it, it's fun to play, and looks great. I wouldn't pay full price for this, but it is certainly worth checking out on sale, and deserves more than the review score makes it seem.

A lot of negative reviews seem to be either from crashing or not knowing where to go/dying too quickly and not getting money. I had no crashes so that may have been fixed, and also only died once or twice out of all my runs, and was rolling in money by the end. It's actually quite reasonable and you still get enough money from failing to get you off the ground with a few initial upgrades, and it only gets better with further upgrades as you do more runs. As for the not knowing where to go, eventually you get something that helps you in knowing if you missed someone or not, but generally if you go through neutral doors and not the ones with the fire or exit (until you're ready) symbol, you'll be fine and won't miss anything.

Worth checking out on sale!

Visually stunning and incredibly cool. Exo One is a very interesting game that's like a hybrid of flight games and physics platformers. Absolutely worth experiencing. There's not a whole lot to it, but I feel like that's kind of the point: use gravity to your advantage and zip around some crazy cool spacey environments.

It does leave me itching for more like this that is presented in a more gamey way though, but I haven't seen anything quite like it, and I don't even know how that would work as this definitely seemed like the right direction to go. The movement is good once you get used to it, and almost every planet is unique and memorable, though I didn't really like the one level with the smaller planets. Definitely recommend experiencing this one for something a bit different.

I liked the base game, but this DLC is awful. You can't see anything half the time, and there's these giant carrots that chase you with not much you can do sometimes but to tank a life to make them go away since the way to defeat them might spawn too far away. Even on sale it's like nearly $5 for one world that's worse than the base game. Avoid.
