As far as I know, it’s still a botched version of the original, which, according to PCGamingWiki, still requires “essential improvements”. As far as I know, the remastered version still doesn’t offer official ultra-widescreen support. I know that’s not relevant for most people, but it is for me. And to top it all off, the remaster still costs twice as much as the original, with no discount for owners of the original.
