Pretty simple and great fun. Like it's predecessor it's fairly old- but if you're okay with that, you're golden. It appears to contain elements of 'Hellraiser', 'Silent Hill', and '(John Carpenter's) The Thing' to varying degrees, which I found to be really cool. The combat isn't really that much of an upgrade from the first one, but it's still a step up, and the weapons and enemies have been expanded a bit. Flashlight use finally makes sense, and you can actually store things in your inventory- so we're a little behind the times vs. 'Resident Evil' or something, but it's there now.

I honestly think a serious attempt at a third installment would be great, but that might be a risky venture
