By definition hard game would be one that takes effort to win. Harder means more mental effort or gaming prowess (in case of action games). That would mean in a hard game all or almost all runs are technically winnable, one just have to get good. In this game that's clearly not the case, in fact it seems that majority of the runs aren't, defeating the concept of high difficulty. I have a few hours on the game and I can’t win a run, highest I got was to ante 7, any strategies or tips?

Mine's bloodstone, very unreliable and costed me a ton of runs but it feels so good when it actually pops off

I'm sure this has been discussed but life is too short for Steam forum diving. Does this game reward skill or is it more of a clever RNG time waster? is there really much strategy involved? Some runs are just doomed early on due to a lack of Mult jokers? I beat the base difficulty once by steamrolling with an over-powered Joker combo but otherwise my performance after a few hours of playing seems to be all over the place......
