What an amazing game.
Style is adorable, music is reeeeally good, characters are interesting and funny and overall gameplay loop is very satisfying.
I must say I'm not really a fan of previous RF games so I'd say don't be afraid to try this one if you're in the same boat with me. I like management of villages and villagers, I think this game combines farm sim and management sim features very well. RPG part is engaging and well-made too, blends flawlessly with everything else. I like the characters as well, although usually I'm not a fan of social aspect in such games. But here everyone are really nice, they're not very deep but still interesting enough for me to want to follow their stories. Overall, the game provides relaxing, interesting and beautiful experience.
The only not so good part for me in this game is the main story. In my opinion, developers overcomplicated it toward the end and if not for the other parts of the game being so good I would never finish it. Although, the game offers enough interesting activities outside of the main story so I didn't find it very annoying to have to come back to it every now and then.

P.S. English voice acting is amazing too, I really liked it. I rarely enjoy eng VA in my games, but here it enhanced the immersion rather than ruined it.

This game is very enjoyable, i cant wait for rune factory 6. if youve never played a rune factory game this one is most likely very different than what youre expecting.

Don't lock future bachelors/bachelorettes behind DLC on day one again, that was beyond assy.

Good game, but some parts are too boring to keep playing. Still, 8/10 — +1 because Clarice is a good girl MUST PROTECT.

Love this game! I've been addicted.
I personally think it's much better than Rune Factory 5 because I hardly played that one after I started. The differences of why I like this more:
- There's so much stuff to do - you can manage 4 villages which keeps you busy. There's farming, personal quests, building, exploration. I found Rune Factory 5's one village so empty
- The skills are more simplified. I personally didn't like how in Rune Factory 5 you had bread recipes and everything gave experience - I don't want to swing at a dummy mindlessly to boost exp in my sword category - here there a skill trees which are more familiar to me and if I'm weak in a skill I can put my general points into that skill.
- Woolby is a great sidekick.
- I like how the menu is organized - I think it's more streamlined and easier to find things.
- I love the storage management - anything extra goes to your storage that you can access any time. So storage is a breeze.
- It's easy to save any time or fast travel anywhere - it's awesome
- I like making an impact and bringing the villages back to life - it's nice to see transformation and progress.

Things I think could be better:
- The character dialogue and interactions are meh. When you hang out, you don't always get to know more about the characters. It feels underwhelming.
- There's no fishing minigame if you like that. It's just cast the line and click when they've bitten.
- On the one hand, the days have a ton of time which is nice, but on the other hand I'm not even done Spring Year 1 and I feel like I've already done a ton of stuff. Maybe there's more I don't know about yet.

Overall, I think it's great and a step up from Rune Factory 5 in my opinion.
