Halfway House Now Available

It's been a long time coming but Halfway House is finally available on Steam.

This release includes everything up to Episode 11, along with achievements, cloud support, and a fair number of improvements made during the Steam onboarding process.

To everyone that supported me over the years: thank you. It's that support that made it possible for the game to reach this point.

To everyone joining the gang for the first time: welcome to the Halfway House.

I hope you enjoy the ride.

The next update, Episode 12 is currently under development. And is around 50-60% complete.

How many episodes are planned?

Steam build has eps 1-11. Az is currently working on ep. 12. But ep. 12 is not the end. Before I jump back into this (and buy it again, since I bought the itch.io version two years ago), has Az said how many episodes are planned? And, given Az has admitted he's slow, is there a projected timeline for future releases?...

Halfway House Demo Now Available

Hey folks, The demo includes the first two episodes of the game and introduces the core cast, setting, and tone of the story. It's also the debut of the new theme song in a public release. Progression made in shit demo can be picked up again in the main release if cloud save is enabled. Includes 2 achievements.

I am sorry devs but the game isn't worth $19 in the best of the cases $10 or $12 the renders and story line is alright but the graphics are some outdated(for the price that you are asking), if the graphics and renders were like Game of Hearts, Darker 1 or Jason, Coming of age,(even those games are more cheaper) I wouldn't complain for paying the the $19. 7/10.

The good
Most characters and renders look good.
The one animated scene I saw looked good.
Story looks interesting and writing is competent.

The bad
Scenes in the early chapters are a bit grainy.
This is technically in early access but gives the impression it is the full game.
Breezes through chapters.
Because of the above the price seems high for what is here.

Come back in 10 years when the full game is released.

This is actually a pretty good game. I've played earlier versions of it and it has some good writing and character interactions. Im giving it a thumbs down due to the fact that they are selling it incomplete without disclosing this.

THIS IS NOT A FINISHED GAME.

It's also very over priced.
