Welcome to Update 0.5.0. In this update, we are introducing new features to help with your underground exploration and resource gathering. From a new vertical transport system to an energy management tool, here are the details of this update:

Going underground and returning to the surface is now more convenient. We have added an electrically powered Cabin Elevator system. Here is how it works:

• Elevator units can be snapped directly underneath each other to create a single vertical structure.

• The Elevator Main Unit acts as a designated floor, allowing you to travel back and forth between these main units.

• Extension units are available as a cheaper option to extend the elevator's shaft down to your dig sites.

• The elevator cabin comes equipped with its own built-in storage container, making it easier to transport resources to the surface.

We have added a new Backpack Generator to help you manage your energy while working:

• It operates as a fuel-powered piece of equipment designed to improve your energy regeneration.

• As long as it remains active, it allows your energy to regenerate up to 100%.

• It increases the overall speed of your energy recovery.

• Shared Storage UI: Fixed a synchronization issue with the Upgrade UI in the Shared Storage.

• Demo Save Fix: Resolved a bug where taking a save in the demo would cause it to be unexpectedly short.

Demo Update: Save & Load System Added

We have updated the Dig Island Demo! You can now save and load your game while playing the demo.

If you play the demo, save your progress, and later decide to log in to the full game, you will be able to load your demo save file and continue exactly from where you left off.
*Please note: This feature applies only to new worlds created in demo after this update.*
