Steam removed the ability to add custom funds?

Awhile back you used to be able to add custom funds via steam wallet by using the inspect tool on a web browser and changing the amount to add but recently it seems like they removed this.

I have no idea why out of anything they'd prioritize removing this out of literally anything else the guys at Valve could be doing. This has caused a lot of problems for me since I often use steam wallet for things like DLC's and indirect game purchases. I don't like being forced to put five dollars in my wallet to purchase a heavily discounted game for one dollar.

Is this just me or did Valve really remove this?

I can shed some light on this.
Valve employees ran out of things to do instead fixing literally a single bug ever or doing any development work whatsoever.
They then needed to find something and ruin, in order to continue to avoid doing anything positive in their lives.

You can buy an item without adding funds. If you have nothing in your wallet and try to purchase something it will only take the required amount from your bank account.
